i did so well on the house she wants driveway and back done now..question is downstreaming don't work that well at only 1.5% coming out, so i was thinkin to use pump up with store bleach that'd be at about 6% direct on it so i shouldn't have to use any surface cleaner or hardly pw'r a hose would rinse it huh maybe mix it down from 6% to 50/50 to make it twice ds'ing strength at 3% should cut most algae ?

John if the driveway is even a little dirty it's not going to work or you'll be there a couple days. Do you have a pressure washer???

yes i know but a couple days? i did the walk way in ehh 20 min with our powerwasher ds'n at the 1.5% ratio of SH ), prob take me 1.5 hrs with dw the driveway or less. plus the back..i think a surface would do it very fast,
but i am thinking stronger chem for flatwork would cut it then just rinse with the powerwasher ?

Doesn't even need to be a full on surface cleaner (for now) - just pick up a relatively inexpensive turbo nozzle from somewhere and watch the crud dissappear as fast as the $ flow into your pocket.... It'll be a massive help in the meantime until you can get a SC which without a doubt is the way to go if your doing even the odd driveway.

OK, thats why I asked if you had a pressure washer. If I were you I'd Down Stream some mix on it, wand it, then when you are done, downs stream some more mix on it and leave to dry. Sure you can use the pump up sprayer but will be time consuming. Important things is to leave some on it after you are done. It will help brighten up the concrete. Use your 25 or 40 degree when wanding and clean it twice to help eliminate some of the striping you'll get.

the machine has a white nozzle that does pretty strong..and i have gotten the 4 way nozzle for ds'n thru bob, you think the turbo will do better, i have a 2.5k psi 3gpm pw'r, it gets it off now with ds'ing at about 8-10 inches away rinsing .. my point is the pump up can get 6% out where as ds'ing can only put out 1.5% it'd melt it off , i would think i'd be way faster with higher %?

I personally wouldn't use a turbo. I'd use the green but the white will work too. How you apply is up to you.

hmm yea i looked at the turbos, didn't see where it would be better than green or white..but i havn't used one yet does a turbo jet shoot farther?
