First YouTube

wow man do you mind if i give you a call i honestly am interested to hear more and pick your brain a little

I was nervous about letting too much information out because I always envisioned expanding all over the country, but there's too much local work for that. Within 1 square mile of my house there is $22,000 per year of work in commercial buildings.

I don't mind you calling at all, just call after noon tomorrow because I've got an early long awaited golf game for the first time in temperatures under 100 degrees since May.

Nice video. I like to keep mine around 1 minute, and have good before and after pictures, maybe an action video, and good narration packed with info. It keeps the attention and gets the message across.

That is a good video.

Can you tell by a code or something how many tons the unit is so you know what size it is?

I might give you a call also.

I can eyeball them pretty well now, but most have code within the model number like 036 (3ton) 048 (4ton) etc.

im wondering at 20 to 60 bucks a pop either you need to have a kick ares add on service or you need to do a bunch a week kinda like mowing . . .. . i would be interested in seeing how you have your business model set up for something like this . . . .

Just to let you guys know I'm not crazy, look at this website for a coil cleaning machine that only puts out 100 psi, They claim you can clean 3 medium sized rooftop units in 10 minutes.

Go down to the section titled:

"How will the CoilJet save HVAC technicians money?"

Tony, did you delete that vid?

I don't know what happened.

Here it is, I can't edit the post and put it back in. (I'm not a moderator anymore  because I can't moderate myself I guess.... :p)

Put it back in the first post if you can.

Ron, I too like you were gonna say it SUCKED!!!!! but since he deleted it before I got the chance guess I will have to wait until the next one....

Seriously.....Great positive critizism from the guys that got to see it...this is why we are all here. To get each others opionions whether good or bad. This way our advertising, logos, printed literature, etc is to the best of its potential!

That is a great video Tony.

I would like to have something like that when I have some done on video.

Maybe something like "When the Fan burns up or the Compressor goes out and they find out that it was because the coils had not been cleaned in a while, is there any good answer to give the Property Manager or Property Owner for this? What will you say? For as little as $40.00 each Condenser coil can be professionally cleaned, fins straightened and you will have the peace of mind that the system will run better and not have to worry about replacing a $5,000 condenser because of a dirty coil.

Just an idea.

Are you talking about in person? In person you would lose that person after the first five words. In person you'd have to say. "We can save you from that in the future". or "You could have had us clean your condenser for 30 years for what you just paid for that compressor."

If you are talking about video the only problem is nobody is going to listen to that. By the time you get to the word straightened, they are off in never-neverland and their eyes are glazing over.

We live in the MTV generation. Unless you're videoing a tech geek, you've got to make it move kindof fast and keep the words short. I don't always succeed at that.

When I first started these videos some of you guys didn't like the music and suggested narration instead. Coil Cleaning and filter service is a dry subject. I have tried over the past few months to put limited words on the screen accompanied by music that either
a) is pleasant to listen to or
b) brings up good feelings from the past (depending on the age and personality of the recipient. I don't always get it right.)

I've looked at a lot of informative youtube videos. I'm MUCH more likely to watch the entire thing if there is a good song in the background if nothing more than to hear the song. I can't listen to a narrated video more than 30 seconds or I feel like I'm in a straight jacket. I don't care good the narrator is, if I wanted words I'd read a website, when I'm on youtube I want video and music. I might be wrong, but I'd guess most people are like that.

Who else has an opinion on this?

I agree with you 100% Tony. I have only done 1 You Tube Video. It's Birthdate is May18th 2008 and as of today I've had over 3250 hits on it in just over a year. That 1 video alone has Closed more deals for me without me ever having to say a word to the customer. It pulls up on most all local searches and has been one of the best selling tools I've ever used. :)
