First job - how to get better

'Chromophores' are responsible for the color of the gum shadow.

The oxygen (and Hypochlorous Acid) released in the chemical reaction between chlorine, water (and the substrate) effectively kills the chromophores, thus taking away the color of the gum shadow.

... now you know what the chlorine is doing to your gum shadow!

:D

Pretty neat way of describing,"it bleaches the color out". I'll have to try and remember that, it makes it sound way more technical.

Thanks
