What do you recomend to remove the soot from the concrete pad and to help remove the smell? Please I need help fast.

No one has ever cleaned up soot and smoke before? Come on I know some one has to have an idea on what works and what don't. Please help:confused:

I would recommend the use of a chemical with a high level of soidum hydroxide and butyl in it. This should break the bond of carbon which remains. Once you remove this the smell should be reduced tremendously. If the odor persists try using quantenary amonia.

Larry,
Do you think useing something like the V-501 or the OD-100 would do the trick?

Yes, either should do the job.

How long?

Larry,
How long do you think I should let dwell time be? With out damaging the concrete? Thanks for the advice.

Dwell Tme

Neither of those chemicals will damage concrete under normal conditions. 10 to 15 minutes should be sufficent.

Thanks

Thank you very much Larry I will try it and let you know what happens. :D
