Fire Hydrant Pig Tail

Anybody know if this item can be purchased? Thanks... Looking to be able to fill my tanks from the Fire Hydrant. I contacted our local water dept. and they use a metering device to charge me accordingly but failed to ask them how I am to get the water from the hydrant to my tanks.

I rent a portable meter from one city and I made one from another. I went to a commercial pluming supply and got a meter and the fittings. I had to get a backflow protector and then have a Plummer test it for the city. The city waterworks department should tell you everything they need.

Jeremy, did any clues about your trailer ever surface?

Not a single piece of anything :( I was even looking last night even on Craigslist for some of my stuff. We have already started our new trailer build. We're mounting the tank now and mounting our 13HP 8GPM unit on it. This new one is a 18ft trailer with the ladder rack being 6 ft high from the trailer bed with PLENTY of head room....it's tall and long lol

That sucks so much. I hate thieves!!!

How do you (or can I) get 8 GPM from 13 HP?

You will get the flow but not the high pressure, probably 2500psi or less with that size engine which would be good for house washing.
