Fast Food Flat Work - help on bid

Was asked today to provide a bid to perform cleaning for a Dairy Queen (fast food rest). Here are particulars:
1. Concrete outside eating area and sidewalk. Some gum. 1800 sq ft.
2. Area around back door - 100 sq ft.
3. Grease container area - mainly concrete, some overflow to asphalt - total area 160 sq ft.
4. Around around two dumpsters - asphalt - 600 sq ft.
Need rough idea on bid cost. Will do monthly. Outfit doint hoods had been doing for $100 per month - owners feel they were giving a low price because it was an add on.

Also want a bid on "washing down" drive thru lane and adjacent area - total of 4600 sq feet. They are looking for general cleanup to get rid of dirt and lessening of food product - no degreasing needed.
Would do this on same monthly trip.

Any quick response would be appreciated. Told them I would give bid on Thursday.
 
Hmm, there's a couple of ways to bid this. First is to figure the time required to complete the job, plus expenses, or secondly, total the square footage and multiply by what the going rate is, say .06 to .10 per sq ft. Be careful on the asphalt, degreasers will do a number on it. It's best to just use hot water. Good luck, and while you're at it, ask the manager/owner if he can give you referrals to other restaurants.

I always tell customers that a month is 4 weeks, not 4.3.

I bill every 4th week. Whenever a 5th week comes it is really the 1st week of the next cycle.

The others have answered your question on pricing.
 
You have a total of 7260 sq ft to clean, multiply by even lowest you could charge at 0.06 cent, you will need to charge 435 dollars per month...ok, too high? Then charge half of that if you realy need the bid ( $217) ...Remember you need to work for it, so dont be scared of asking the real price man....just my thoughs.
