I always spray the gutters or fascia with housewash first then brush it on and rinse quickly. Don't brush it on before wetting with housewash mix. Trust me.

I use "Awesome" too. I don't dilute it. When I used it diluted, it did not do the trick. I do use house wash first and the spray the awesome and brush lightly. That works really well. I don't do it more than twice. I let the homeowner know that if I try and "clean" it more that they will be looking at bare metal. I have learned to inform the homeowner that depending on how long the gutters have been neglected will determine how clean they will look. I let them know that they will look a lot better but maybe not perfect. Just depends. Usually the homeowner just looks at me with that "just turn my white house from green back to white". Here is a house I did Saturday.

Never had trouble getting bare metal diluting it. Never had a situation they didn't clean up either.

That Looks good. I just booked a roof job and up sold the whole house. Im gonna get me some more. Not for the roof. though. I did try awesome full strength on rust and it did nothing. ill keep it for the drip edge.

It's not going to do anything for rust. You need an acid like f9 or oxalic for that.
