Was thinking about getting one, do they work? Does it mount on the pump head where a thermal relief valve would go?
So would this prevent me from having to walk back to pull the gun trigger after I turned off the engine.

One more thing to leak and go bad. It does not release pressure after you turn the machine off.

When we're not using our open guns, I insist that my guys have the trigger open both when the machine fires up and during shut down.

I just leave the ball valve open when starting with no tool attached. You can do the same when shutting down.
