I use a 18' extension wand extended all the way out all the time. At first I had trouble conttrolling it but now since Ive used it for 3 seasons I can wash 2 story buildings from the ground and with the use of the dredded ladder I can get the peak on a 3 story colonial style house. It works you but the speed is far better than a lift or ladders and control will come once you get used to it. I am a big fellow so I can handle the long wand all day but don't get me wrong....at the end of a day of 2 story homes....im tired.
