Estimating Centers Remotely

I have the chance to bid on a couple shopping centers that are about 5-6 hrs away from me. I am thinking that you guys that cover multiple states can't possibly run around and do bids on all of these spread out centers; so I am sure there is a way to develop a bid sight unseen. I have the site maps from the companys website but it doesn't say the measurements on the sidewalks and I also wanted to see what you guys did to ensure proper water supply as well. Any little tips would be greatly appreciated.

Quote by GLA or MLA, your price is what it is, plus mileage plus expenses. Water supply is a crap shoot, sometimes yes, sometimes no, sometimes you just need to find out for yourself. GIS systems will assure proper bidding, LGIS will enhance your chances for a successful bids, invest in the technology and sell you will.

How did you come across this opprotunity?

Have you bid something like this before?

What is your bid to sale ratio?

Out of state?

What is your milage calculation? Cause it is different for everyone, not set cost will make you make money.

If you answered no or I don't know to more then 2 of these questions then you need to pass this lead to someone tat gets it and never needs to wonder about it.

Take a finders fee and sit back and smile.

Keep the numbers "SOLID" and we all will suceed, there is room for everybody, just don't mess it up for the rest of us.

I do bid some far away centers by GLA, but what is MLA?

Also, was is GIS and LGIS?

We do several centers a month and looking to expand, but not familiar with the terminology.

I already take care of one of there centers that is close to me so that is how I have this chance. I do this type of work, just haven't done it over a distance YET. I figure everyone had to start somewhere on this type of work and i would think that is a good way for me to start. The company already loves the work we have done for them locally. I will check into the GLA info and see what I can come up with. Also I was thinking that if you stacked this centers up that guys weren't even charging mileage. I would swear that I have read that on here.
