Hello,


I'm going to be doing some flatwork: Parking lot, oil stains, walkways-for a client. What is the EPA standards for North Carolina as far as wastewater is concerned? I would appreciate a link to a web site if there is one and especially would appreciate any info, experience from pressure washers in NC.

Unfortunately as I have found recently in my area, it depends on who you talk to. You will have to go the AHJ and see what they say. I had a situation where a guy from a local EPA office told me one thing, but the City I was working in expected much more than I was told I would need to do. When I talked to the EPA guy again he told me that was pretty much the case, every municipality may have different rules to follow. You really have to do some legwork on this to find out what you need to do. Most places just simply won't care where the water goes, but even there you still have the EPA to deal with.
