End of an ERA

No but it's the most retarded word to use. I clean flatwork, I'm a flatworker. I do flatwork.

I believe the correct verbage would have been "it's the most mentally challenged word to use." If you're going to get all politically correct here with the flatwork thing, you might as well be PC in all you do. Just sayin.

Yeah I suppose your correct Allison. I'm sorry if I offended you. I'll change it when I'm not on my phone. Will use meaningless.

It's all about getting work guys. What customer do you know ever searches for the term flat work. Same goes for house washing. Customers search for pressure washing or some derivative there of.

Good move Ron

Nice to have the editor checking in.

"Flatwork" ( to me ) is the term most contractors will identify with. At least those who started at the turn of the century such as myself.

In front of the customer, I have always called it "Surface Cleaning".

I agree that the title " Sidewalk cleaner " or "Driveway cleaner" does sound a bit undignified.

I think Ron may be adding a "Fresh Coat of paint" to what he feels is dated terminology.

........ it's still flatwork though!!!
