Eli's Selling Machine

Ron,
That would be great if you can talk to the dealer to see what it would cost to ship a rig like that to NY. Also I think Eli said that the PW is a 12 volt as oppose to a 110 volt(Generator) one which makes his machine less desirable because in general, 110 volt systems last the longest.

If you talk to the Dealer can you ask him the complete specs of this set-up and also why there are 3 hose reels on it. Eli did not make that clear in his return call. What amount of hose can go on those reels???

Thanks

Folks Elis has only pressure washed one job, he knows nothing about this business or the equipment he owns. he does know that if he gets half the money he paid he will be lucky.

My local dealer said a trucking company would charge around 300 to 400 about 10 day delivery

I do not understand why everyone pushes the 120 volt machines more than the 12 volt machines. I have two. One for 3 years, and one for four years. They easily run 40 hours a week, with the hot water on. I have had to replace two batteries, one for each machine, and that is about the same rate as I have to replace car batteries, and have lost the charging system on each machine, at three years. I have had a bigger problem with Vanguard motors than I have had with my 12 volt systems, and they still have a lot of life left in them.

John T. I have both and frankly the lasting thing is not the problems i have had. I admit that when the 12v breaks with and electric problem it has been more difficult. I love the advantages with the 120v. I will tell you they are more expensive to fix the 120v generators are not cheap.

there are pro's and con's with both. I preffer 120v because they are alittle more durable. but thye all break and if you way that out its just as much money to fix them both. you just fix the 120 less but it costs you more.

Longevity I have a similar machine thats a landa and its 8 years old and has never had a burner problem. Pumps been replaced and the motor. Burner never,,Knock knock...LOL

Might be that synthetic oil you use Bro lol.

You already know how many hours I have on that Vanguard I use so I won't rub it in anymore here. Some think I'm nuts for changing my oil every week, but it's served me well. Maybe the water cooled Koehler when this one blows up.

Hey Kent,
I love this time of year spending tax money behind my wife's back. Either way she gets the real Money when I start rolling along.

As for that set-up, I like it. I would like it even more if it had an 8-10 gpm PW on there so I can play with the big boys....Like you:)

Did you sell your Hydrotek??

Your Cousin

Hey John,

Its nice to see you in here, yeah i sold the machine. I think that im going to get two from Hydro tek only they will be 10gpm's machines . If you hear of anyone that might want a landa 5-3000 let me know it only has about 3oohrs and i would like 4900.00. Anyway hope to see you soon.

Regards
Kent

Kent is my first cousin from my mothers side. He wishes he was a distributer:D

He owns a nice size Landscaping Company and he has since Incorporated Powerwashing as an add on to his Company. He has a couple of PW contracts alone that may possibly generate more money then what my company makes.(Sneek lol). He is pretty much all Commercial with his powerwashing and he has employees that do the work for him.(The beauty of Commercial).

I have some big plans on the table and I may hook him in.(Its who you know in life).

He has a nice Landa PW for sale which I told him post a picture of it in the equip. sale by contractor section. He wants to buy much higher GPM Powerwashers(Dream big runs in my family and succeeding does to.....sometimes).

The funny thing is I just found at that he was so into Powerwashing when he called me last week. It also turns out that his Brother-in-law is a fulltime Powerwasher from Florida that has a nice business. I never knew I had so many connections.:D

I have to find out who his brother in-law is. For all I know he may be someones that post on these bb's.

Like the old saying goes..."Its a small world"

Ron M.,
Post any pictures of what I got here if you can. Thanks you've been a tremendous help as always.

I paid $5000 for this rig set-up. The reason I bought this is because I am trying to expand my Commercial end of my business and this rig was an Ideal set-up for what I plan on doing.

As for the break down of this rig first off I called Hydrotek and the List was $12,300 and thats without counting the Stainless steel Swivel reel(Third reel up top by tank) and the 27"Hydrotwister that was coming with this Rig.

When I called my NY dealer the best deal that they could give me was $10,900 (Includes 3rd reel) and then I have to add NY tax of 8.25%. So this would put this deal back up almost $12,000 and once again the Hydrotwister was not included.

So for $5000 I could not pass this up even though I was inititially trying to get this for $3800(Thought I actually had a shot there at first. What was I thinking??) Sorry to anyone else that was interested in this rig and apparently there was quite a few people. In business can't always pass up on a good deal.
:)
