Eggs on Stucco Siding

Rapid HotClean

New member
Very expensive home (mansion) got egged about three weeks ago, easily a dozen hits. First time I've encountered this on stucco.

Hot water's out, will make it worse. When I stopped by, I took a flier and quickly tried a Graffiti Wipe, it didn't even begin to touch it.

Help!! Thanks in advance!

I'm taking a shot in the dark but re paint the wall might be easier?

Have Had this to contend with once. Water, House wash [more soap than hypo], brush and elbow grease. Because it is organic it will re-hydrate. I found that I had to keep it wet and just keep on scrubbing it. A short, stiff bristle brush worked best. In the case I had to deal with there was no residual staining on the cladding

Thanks much for the help.

Cleansol BC two applications 4:1
then wash it right off.

best deal I've seen on oxyclean is at sams club. it makes sense that it would work an egg is technically 1 huge organic cell and oxyclean is basically hydrogen peroxide (if I'm not mistaken) hydrogen peroxide cleans organic matter better than anything I've ever seen. ive watched oxyclean bubble and eat away algae (anther organic) all theory, good luck

Is there a brand name? Thanks Trey.

Oxyclean is made up of Sodium Percarbonate and Sodium Carbonate ( AKA Washing Soda),....But I use Sodium Percarbonate on it's own here and there and it does work well for certain things. I think the Washing Soda is added to boost the PH which boosts the dirts cleaning power. Point being,...you can buy a 50 Lb. bag of pure sodium percarbonate for around $34.00 at Univar.

As for the egg,...seems like everytime I've cleaned egg there was always shadowing afterward,...I think it depends also how long it's been there eating away. I agree with Shane,..I'd remove the what I could with typical effort,..and then color match and paint away and let time bring it back together if it's not a perfect match.
