Beth, How did you do the writing over the photo? It adds a nice touch.

Thanks very much. I use a program called Fireworks for that. Macromedia makes it. (makers of shockwave and flash) I can add text in a text box, then I can bevel it, add shadows, or whatever so it stands out. Fireworks creates a .PNG file, but also converts .PNG files to .gif and .jpg as well, so it's pretty flexible.

Images like that would make a great Powerpoint presentation for your laptop to show customers. I am with Tim, it would make a great postcard or a poster for a home show.

Well, it just so happens that I do this very sort of thing on the side.... I learned about it as a part of the web work I do. So if anyone wants a postcard designed, or a photo to have text, or whatever, I do it.

We used EFC-38 by Extreme Solutions on this project, and followed it with Citrolic Acid as a two step application on this cedar home. This photo shows where the house has been cleaned and where we are working, side by side.
