i've been experimenting with some of the envirospec house washing chemicals that i bought from paul. although all of the products work very well i have to say that the emulsifier-plus has given me the best results so far. this product cleans great, soaps up well, and even has a nice smell to it. keep up the good work paul.

i buy soap from them as well and they have great products as well and great service

I purchase 90% of my chemicals from Espec. Excellent products, top shelf customer service, immediate shipping, tracking information. And, Espec donates 100% of their chemical sales profits to non profit charities, especially animal rescue organizations.

mix?

I use Envirospec's Rust-Away and PowerStroke on a regular basis and love it!

i've got those two right now also in the 5'er. on these products how do you mix and apply?

Should of shipped with the MSDS sheets and mixing instructions.

Shoot me an email and I'll send you the MSDS sheets, or contact Envirospec.

I mix 1/2 lb to 1 lb of powder per gallon of warm water on both Rust Away & PowerStroke, depending on the strength I need. PowerStroke I downstream while Rust Away is applied strait via pump up sprayer or Delevan pump (depending on size of area that I am covering). I mix the Rust Away the night before so it is thoroughly disolved the next day and doesn't clog my pump up.

kewl beans

so the powerstroke is basically your cleaner removing oil and grease stains and the rustaway is your rust remover/brightner? i've heard good reports on both.

thanks for your input,

If the Rust Away doesn't resolve your rust issues, step up to Oxalic acid. Make sure you read, understand and follow the MSDS warnings for the Oxalic, can cause some very serious health issues.

rust away is oxalic acid.

To be honest I have 2 large packages of Rust Away in my shop, they've sat there for at least a year, and I haven't tried the product yet. I buy Oxalic 50 lbs at a time and love the results.

Espec lists Rust Aways primary ingredient as Ethandioio Acid. With some quick research I've learned that Ethandioio Acid and Oxalic acid are the same. Learn something everyday. Thanks for making me aware of that Carey.

One of my brothers has his PhD in Chemistry; works for Exxon as their Head of Research and development. I'd ask him but he's too busy of a man, and usually globe trotting somewhere around the world.
