DS Injector Tube

I have a downstream injector going into a 5 gal bucket, and the hose end/filter kept floating and sucking air. Wanted to share what I used, works pretty good for it.

I took an extra lugnut from my truck and slipped it over the rubber hose. Fits perfect!

Best way to spend $3...it's a great heavy filter that stays on the bottom and lasts a year.

Your bleach will be brown in an hour.

Just cut a piece of pvc a little longer than the bucket is deep. Slip the hose through it, put your intake screen on the end and there you have it.
Thanks, I'll pick up the pvc

Bleach?

Hi Mike

We use bleach/chlorine to wash houses and buildings to clean and remove mold and algae, and yes to brighten concrete and to remove any lines after cleaning.

I know you haven't started doing much residential yet and mold and algae aren't big problems for you, but when you start doing more house washing you will downstream more chlorine also

Hope all is well..............good luck

Now that we are on the subject of tips. Does anyone use anything to keep the handle of the wand open on large areas that are being washed ( rinsed ) or on the surface cleaner. I put a tennis ball in so my hand doesnt get tired of squeezing.

Any other tips of the trade I would like to hear.

Make sure you cut the end of your hose at a 90* so it will sit at the bottom of the bucket and still pull everything. Take a hose clamp and slide the pvc section up your ds hose. Then place a hose clamp just at the bottom of the pvc so that it won't slide down over your ds hose
