Cleaning a fan on a gravel roof ... Bring a rake and remove the gravel from around the fan.. Then clean the fan , place a 5 gallon bucket with some pea gravel in in under the spout get the chuncks out the will stay n th 5 gallon bucket drill little holes in the bucket beneath gravel level so the clean water can drain.. Then clean the underside of the fan ... after your done , dump the grease junks in a grease vat and re spread the gravel around the fan bringing some new gravel into the area also.. Then take your 5 gallon bucket , put some clean gravel in it with little holes at the bottom of the bucket ... I do this now with all my customers as an added on free of charge service with a 3 month hood cleaning contract... No mess and easy to clean... On white rubber roofs we use lava rocks in the 5 gallon bucket , it works really nice...
I suppose you could go get some foam padding like they use at walmart or home depot and put it in a 5 gallon bucket..

No offence John but your method seems very labor intensive. Driploc is not trying sell this, thier saying "Hey look how easy this is"

These Guys are great, I talk with these guys.

Real pros and interesting storys on other product lines they offer.

We learned a lot from them at the Grease Police Round Table in LA last year. Barry is has a wealth of KEC information, and Scott really know his stuff when it comes to grease containment. They are also very proud of their products, I didn't notice it right away, but they "tagged" our shop with Driploc bumper stickers, I think they got at least 5 of them in there without me noticing. I didn't even notice the one on my truck for about a week.

Looks like the Next Grease Police RT will be around the same time this year, maybe a little later. We are trying to hook up a couple of first service jobs that guys can go on simultaneously so they can see the foam in action on some really nasty stuff.

Its seems many KEC guys are going to rounds around he country. Its a large than life industry. for sure

Its great, I know Trey from Sentinal got a couple of really good leads at the Alabama RT from a guy who was getting asked about hood cleaning a lot. I think he even sold one. Those RT's are money in the bank.

everything to you when someone says something is labor intensive.

Will this RT in So. Cal be open the general KEC community? I would like to attend, is that possible? I just need so lead time.

It would be open to everyone if all goes to plan.

I have a very big fish on the hook right now, that a lot of guys would like to hear speak. Let me see if I can reel him in. It looks like Driploc is in again as a sponsor, and my contact at Hydrotek has said that they have done sponsorships for similar deals in the past, and it shouldn't be a problem. They have given away T200's in the past so make sure you bring your truck so you can tow it home:D

Will cost me $1000 to drive that beast down to So. Cal
