I also would never use a backpack sprayer with SH, chances are that is the time it would start leaking and give you some bad chemical burns on the areas that are most sensitive. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

If they made a backpack sprayer with no fittings on the bottom or sides then that would be a different story.

Why are you guys wasting chem just because your downstreaming??? Change tip and flush chem out of line on side of house or truck... whatever your working on ect...
