Down stream

Bob has one he alters and I use it. It will pull strong through 200' of hose. Call him at Pressure Tek.

Robo chem is a good injector i have used them before but the ajustment control got ate up by the chemicals.I like the non ajustable kind.

I havent been here very long and seems like espec products are getting a bad rap over here.Wonder why the super sucker worked great for me and Hydroman went through 3 of them thats odd. That

chemical injectors and “flow-restriction”..

Downstream chemical injectors are super-sensitive to “flow-restriction”..
Rusty fittings, especially rusty hose-ends are really bad.
Lots of hose on a reel is flow restriction,
The reel swivel is a flow restrictor too.
At the inlet of the hose reel is my recommendation too, BUT..
Do it on a quick coupler, so you can remove it when you don’t need it.
Or, use the ST61 injector..
it’s the one -size- fits –all (from 2 to about 8gpm),
It is adjustable for system-flow, and you can open up the venturi
to NOT restrict flow when you don’t need chemical.
Close-down the venturi, it it willl draw soap, even against hundreds of feet of hose.
They are very easy to adjust, and you can leave it on, if you like.

Every chemical injector will "work"..
Some work better than others, but
HOW you install it, and WHAT you install it on,
is MOST important of all.
It's not about the tool,
as much as the user.

Jerry is there any way to get stainless hose ends (crimped fitting) at a reasonable price? All I've seen are like $40 or $50 ! That nickel or zinc plate does exactly nothing for corrosion. Maybe an aftermarket moly or teflon coat ... ?

if the extra $50 saves you 1% in workspeed,
at 50 hours of cleaning at $100/hr. you should break even.

Reasonable is always a "comparative".

Demas are good but expensive, I have used them in the past. Didn't seem to notice much difference in draw rate and they seemed to wear out just as quick as the others. I has been about 15 years since I have used one though things may have changed.

I like the 20% general pump injectors. They last pretty well and don't cost much to replace. I buy the brass ones, have tried 2 stainless steel ones and neither worked when I got them.
