Does anyone have a Final Walkthough/ Check list for Techs/homeowners?

All of our techs are trained well and do a very good job 99% of the time. Our policy is to always do a final walk through with the customer (if they are home), however, I was curious if anyone uses and is willing to share their checklist for a final walkthough.

i.e. Windows Clear, Fasica and Gutters cleans, Eaves, etc. Just curious.

Thanks!

Very Good Question Mike,
I was too was wondering the same thing ... looks like you beat me to the punch. Would be nice to know if there is something officially that folks do use regarding this topic ... as for me I figured we just take good "Before" pictures and then once done do some sort of "walk through" with the client and show them the areas of concern that they may have had prior to us starting and then get their "okay" on the finished product (and if possible their "okay" as well to use their picture as references). Only problem is we still haven't had our 1st paying client yet ... working on it though.

I think checklists are more important for the crew than the client..I call clients prior to finishing and tell them were finished or we will be finished later today when can we meet for payment? I dont offer a walk around unless they want to..

We repeat so on the First service we will walk threw to see if there are issue or Pet peeves the customer has so we can prevent problems.

We offer to do walk throughs if the customer is home and wants to. We never do a check list. 90% of our customers are not home when we do the work and mail us a check. Every customer receives a follow up email from me asking if they were happy with the results. These are great for getting testimonials too. Hand written thank you cards with a magnet are sent a few weeks later.

Those are some great follow up tips, Doug.
