Do you listen to music?

Do you listen to music while you work, especially flatwork - long hours. These cheap headphones are the best I've tried, they go right under ear muffs.

Heck, they're everywhere, try amazon you can probably find them around $10 I usually buy three. With ear protection on and these in your ears you'll hear stuff in songs you miss when you're not around equipment.

I like to hear the equipment run, so I can hear if something sounds wrong.

Even though I am completely guilty of agreeing with you Mark about listening to the equipment, I actually wear a pair of noise canceling head phones, they are great they drown out all noise around you and just hear tunes, I listen to the satellite radio and drift off into work.

I listen to music on some jobs that are easy. But theres jobs that i have to be on my toes. I used to listen to Howard stern on sirus but i no longer have the set up to listen to it on my headphones. that guys show is a trip

I agree with Mark, pay attention to sights and sounds around you It can save your life.

I've never felt I wasn't aware of the equipment, you get to where you can feel it in your bones.
