I measure the square footage and do them that way. So far I only have centers within a three hour radius of me. If I had the business others do here with properties hundreds of miles away I would have to find another method. I do currently have two centers with nearly identical GLA but one has 20% more sidewalk area than the other.

GLA is and option Tony, I/We use it when bidding on properties we can not physically go to look at because of distance. If I can get to it (with in 2 hours) I go look. Outside of that I bid by the GLA.

Ditto!!! if its within an hour or so drive i will also go look. But GLA will get you real close on price, and we also have a Minimum on Centers.
