Do any of you guys golf?

I used to play all the time when we lived in South Dakota. Shot into the mid 90's.

Then around 2003 started playing once or twice a month till I got obsessed and began playing just about every weekend for almost a year (back when we did all night work and no weekend work)

But I haven't played but once since last summer as punishment for the obsession. (I did get down in the mid 80's though):)

We live a mile from the oldest golf course in Las Vegas built in the 40's and still a great simple course.

My friend is an instructor and gave Fayth lessons. When she was 5 she could hit a 60 yd drive and got an 8 on a par 4 hole once. She's no Tiger Woods, but that's not too bad.

It will be 190 degrees, I hope its at 4 am

Same here. If you're definition of a golfer is someone that owns a set of clubs, then yes, I am. Four years ago, rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder (fell off a roof) actually improved my swing. This past year's left rotator cuff and partial knee replacement (young driver ran a stop sign) are yet to be tested. I'm hoping to get the doc's "OK" to take a few swings soon.

I was on the back nine. The hole was 430 yards. The Tee off was on a hillside so it was possible, with a good swing, to reach the green with a tail wind.

So I am at the tee. I carefully place the ball ever so gently on the tee. I take a practice swing or two. I tighten up my grip and let it rip. Gosh did the ball go. It shot off that tee and headed right for the hole. I couldn't beleve it. It was one hell of a swing and one well of a shot. The ball landed just 6 feet from the hole. WHAT A SHOT !!!!.. uh, there was one small detail I forgot to mention here...... It was the wrong hole.

However it still was a great shot!!


So to answer your questioned... YA I play Golf.
 
It's a beautiful game, it's been said that a bad day on the golf course is better than a good day at work. Last time out I shot a 37 on 9 holes. That was late last year. I've been studying and building this business since Oct. so haven't got out yet this year. Been working 6 days a week and doing nothing but thinking work 7 days a week. Business is great, but my social life is gone...for now. I spend every free moment marketing, planning and trying to find my desk under the papers. But yeah, I'm a golfer.
 
I golf here foooor freeeee! and guests for $20! Ventana Canyon, Its unbelievable, every hole is another gorgeous view tucked into the foothills of the catalina mountains. I got a job in banquets about 12 years ago and I've been 'on call' (few times a year or whatever i feel like for fun) since 2000.

Nah, not in June. On courses like this there's running water and things like that to keep it cooler. A few of the courses have air conditioned carts.

It's comfortable to play up here till the 4th of July or so when the temps are over 108 every day. You can start back again on afternoon golf in mid September.

We can play all winter.

When I come down there I want to play, how about week after next. Early like 5:30am right after you get done PW...

All those surgeries helps keep you stiff,,,,,makes you pivot at the hips....LOL you should prob go pro now..
