Disciples Pressure Washing

curbs .30$ to .50¢
If there are more than 20 signs I would do around 15.00-30.00per sign.
less than that 30.00 to 50.00.
The signs will clean easy, it is set up time that will kill you.

now if everyone is ready to quit acting like kids...

I am new to the whole bidding process and could use some help please..

i have 3 different housing developments that want me to bid the curbs and community signs.

I am figuring $.05 per foot on the curbs but how should i price the signs?
They are made of stucco and the tallest 1 is 5ft high by about 4ft wide and 1 ft deep. the all have alot of discoloration due to fungus and city mold.

also the street signs on 1 community are to be bid on. they are all on 4x4 post and painted white ( well they look grey but)....

i am figuring $5 each for the street signs but again am not sure..

my biggest delima is i dont want to over price them and at the same i dont want to just give them away either..

so how do I go about finding a middle ground?

Guys, stop trying to enjoy yourselves........WE veterans are the lucky ones to have a newbie here, now stop what you are doing and answer his question!!!

lOOSE THAT MIND SET RIGHT NOW . .. . YOU SHOULD BE THINKING WHAT IS THE ABSOLUTE MOST I COULD GET FOR THIS WITH OUT SCARING THEM AWAY

You can probably do 5000 ln ft in a day, if you book it. At .25¢ that is 1250.00 per day. That number sounds great until you wash curbs all day long.
If you do it for .05 then do a video also so we can see how disturbed you are after washing foot by foot and thinking about 1 nickle per foot.

Trust me there is nothing worse than underpricing a job and thinking about it all day long while you are doing it.

Sometimes it just seems like an account should be priced lower until you take into consideration the time involved.

I try to price forward..like you are doing where I try to find a fair price per foot that seems competitive. Then, once I figure out approximately how long the job is going to take I try to make sure it makes a BARE minimum of $1600 per day. I'm not happy at all if I can't get at least 2k per day and most accounts produce $2400.
If you apply that formula and you are correct at 3-4 days work, you should be charging a minimum of 21 cents per foot or it isn't even much worth doing. That's the way I would look at it, but you may be able to be perfectly happy at a lower daily rate. If you don't have any other work to do at that time you may be perfectly happy with less just for busy work.
That's just my 2 cents worth.

ok cool thanks for the info I will definately rework the bids. I was thinkin that a nickle a foot was too cheep but didnt want to scare them away either.

Mind you, Tony drives a BMW, not a trashy pickup like me.

Is that the f350 fx4?

F450, see it's not flashy like Scott's Shiny Red Monster Truck.

They have the personalized license plate "fallus" waiting for Scott at the DMV.

The 450 is a Work Truck!!

I don't even wash it so people can see it is a Work Truck!!!

I dented it on purpose!

I put a little red light on the dash so if anyone pulls up beside me they can look in and think "this poor guy is so poor he can't even fix his check engine light"

I'm not flashy. That car Scott saw was my wife's Kia with a BMW sticker on it she got at the flea market!

Oh yeah, my beater???
You know, there are different ways of compensating.,,
