Please vote as to the results you get from your direct mail campaigns. What type of media are you using (post card,tri-fold brochure etc.) and are you targetting a certain demographic or doing a saturation mailing.

Bulk mailing lists can be one of the most cost effective methods of undergoing a marketing campaign. These lists can take the form of traditional direct mailing lists and/or email lists. The most important feature of bulk mailing lists is accuracy.I have been doing bulk mailing and just did my first direct mailing campaign. I love it. I sent out 190 mailings and promised in the letter that I would call at the beginning of this month. Of the 190, I got 4 calls within the first week. I have called 92 of them back and of the 92, I have had 14 commit to sit down with me or allow me to schedule a demo. I closed 2 yesterday (one I met with that I followed back up with and one that called me the first business day after the mailing went out).
I love the direct mailing, however, with the round that I am doing, it is a year long, or more process. That is fine with the results that I have seen so far.
