I spoke with a gas station owner today and he wanted to see quotes for his front walk and the diesel pump decks wich by the way are a mess:eek:

I think he wants to see what I can do before he gives me the rest.

What is the best chem. you have used to remove diesel and how did you use it?

I will be using hot water and high pressure with a surface cleaner.

Thanks,

John

I will use either z'greaser or powerstroke, it will break up the oils and loosen them off of the concrete and the pumps. When you wash the pumps DON'T use your pressure washer above about halfway up the pump, you don't want to damage any of the electronics. You should be able to wipe it down with some chem on a rag and then with a wet rag. I will spray down the whole surface (downstream), use a flat surface cleaner, and then rinse and detail. You may want to pretreat any of the heavy oil stains with straight chem to really loosen it up.

Only the area around the pumps is concrete. It runs about 15' to the outside of the pumps.

My number should be on there now Ron..........Thanks

John
