Defoamer

Im trying to find a good defoamer. I have a sirroco but the problem is when you pick up all the waste water, we have to much foam. Anyone have a fix for this other than defoamer? I used it before, and we just put it in a spray bottle.

Not to sure how good it might work but you might be able to buy the leaf filter drum from jerry so everything will flow into it first giving it more time to deofoam before going to the other tanks and pump outs. That is just a idea you might ask jerry first. Good luck

We had an old slow drip system that we used for fleet wash. It would drip a small, constant drip of defoamer in the reclaim tank. I thought we bought defoamer from envirospec, but no one here seems to remember. I know we could by it from a local place that sold Spartan chemicals. It was too expensive from our local place though!

I'm interested in the slow drip system. How did you have that set up

You can get some crystal defoamer online from carpet supply places. I use an oil sock in a u shape before the pickup point to slow the water and trap the floating debris. It will also stop the foam before it gets to the pickup and help prevent the foaming issue.
