Customer Blew Us Off

This job was scheduled for June 10, 2008, house was going on the market.

We called the night before as a reminder and the women tells me the roof was already done. I had some choice words for them about not having at least the courtesy to cancell etc.

Drove by it today, house still for sale, and what a great job they got, ha ha jerks.

Wow I could have done better than that blind folded and with one arm tied behind my back......lol. Thats ok I had a customer get his cousin to power wash hhis roof for 50 bucks... looks well....... looks RUINED!
 
I had one this week that pushed us to do a roof wash ASAP. Swapped the schedule around to do it 2 days after she called and we had to postpone for one day due to 40 mph+ wind gusts to prevent plant damage to her or the neighbors property. She says "just forget it' I'll get someone else.

We all get them. My fault for not having a cancellation clause with a cost. But who really wants a customer like that. She would probably call next spring and claim I killed her exotic rose bush. You can't dwell on the bad ones.

I'm almost happy when people do this. They save you from all the other headaches that they would put you through!
 
All of our residential jobs require a credit card to hold an appt. We have a 24 hr policy. Cancel inside of 24 and there is a cancelation fee. Plan and simple. If they are really gonna use your service, they will hold the spot with a card. This way when we get there and they forgot or had someone else do it cheaper we charge them a cancelation fee. It works for us anyways. Once you get that card they don't jerk you around!!!
 
Looks like they got what they deserved, a horrible job!!!!
