Credit Cards?

I deal mostly in commercial fleets (99%) if the time. I just acquired a new account of a major retail hom improvement chain and they have requested to pay by credit card. I was told it is easier for their accounting in the headquarters as each department has their own cc. I was curious as to whether or not it is an advantage for fleet washing to have this type of service available for commercial customers. I have only had 2 or 3 requests for this in several years of business.

There are advantages for you. If you want to accept them you will get paid immediately. You will often lose a small percentage to the credit card company. There also might be a monthly fee.

The cost is $10.00 a month and 3% fee so not terribly expensive unless I go over $300/month usage and then the fee goes up. I just wasn't sure if anybody had other fleets or commercial accounts that wanted to use this method.
