Lori, thanks for the 400 feet of blue hose. It sures beats dragging 250 feet of 3/4 red goodyear hose. You can see the hose in the bottom left corner of the dirty roof pic. The other pic of my trailer is 300 feet of 1/2 inch on my reel and 100 feet for my small chem tank. Also, Thank you Lori for a chance to win some cool stuff!

Lori, what size air compressor do you need for that pump? How many gallons?

Typically a lot of guys that use that air diaphragm pump use the wheelbarrow type air compressor that puts out 11cfm at 40psi and 10cfm at 90psi.

You can get the Rigid at Home Depot for about $769.00 almost every day of the week. That air compressor makes great air supply for that pump.

If you were going to try to do it another way, you need the same specs:
11cfm at 40psi and 10cfm at 90psi for the pump to work properly. It does use some volume of air.

Check craigslist for a wheel barrow compressor.I see them nearly new localy all the time for $400 -$500

Great information, Chris! Thank you. The compressor for your air brakes will work for the BIG trucks. Otherwise, Chris has done a nice job of explaining the requirements.

Great Service I have bought a SC and this pump thats up for grabs! I just need to pick it up and put it to work! My NDP-15 crapped out on me. It needs a rebuild!

They might be using those new high-tech bearings that are better than the originals, I got my swivels rebuilt by Rex (he showed me how to do it myself so now I know a faster way and better way so I can rebuild them when I need to), Rex really is a great person and really knows his stuff!
