Concrete driveway stripping and restaining

I have a customer who wants us to restore her color stained concrete driveway. It was stained with Behr semi-transparent styrene acrylic concrete stain and looks like it has a glossy top coat. The top coat is chipping and stained from hard water. Does the entire driveway need to be stripped and restained/ recoated? Or is there a way to touch it up? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

RUN DO NOT WALK away or charge by time and materials. We had a driveway like this and the owner gave a verbal to continue. We lost $1000 labor on the job. I think it was Bix srtripper from SHerwin WIlliams and it works but it took a lot of it and it makes a mess all over the grass.
