Coffee cups working

I had some logo coffee cups made up a few months ago and Ive been giving them and logo pens out. I got a call from a Property manager, theres 5 in this one company and Ive only worked for one of them. Well he called and said thanks for the coffee cup and asked me to look at 3 properties and he said I came recomended from the other PM

Ive given out about 100+ cups and have gotten some great feed back. People like good freebies. Time to order more cups

Whats everyone else give away?

I was thinking about calculators or mini knifes w logo
 
Jeff and Ron do you guys put the mugs in little boxes to mail out or have folks hand deliver them.

So far Ive hand delivered them, make sure you bring at least one extra one for the receptionist, she's the one who's going to give them to the right people

I will be boxing some up for Xmas
 
Liberal Jeff--do you have pimp stainless ones or are they the cheapest ones you could get??? I've looked into these.....just re-read and you said "mugs", I was thinking the transportable type with a lid. But man, they'd have to run $5-10 each. But I LOVE those things, I'd never get rid of them. I have plastic Permachink mugs with lids that I've had for 4yrs.....can't read the phone # on it anymore. Good ideas,

I got simular to Rons $.99 with one color. I dont think you need the more expensive ones, to much money if your giving out 100 or more. Plus really these cheaper ones have gotten a real good response. When I deliver them the office people light up. I had the wife of one PM get all excited and grabbed one right away and said she collects them

Can you put your logo on these or just the Name of the business for .99 each? I was thinking about doing this but would like my logo on them (which is black and white) and the name and number. I am not sure what it would cost but I need to talk to a designer and find out.
 
Does anybody do anything special for your customers around christmas. I noticed on one of the post where someone was sending the mugs. Any other ideas. When we first started out we delivered homeade cookies to some of our bigger acounts but i ended up gettin bigger an acount i had to do a little samplin on the way. lol

Xmas I give a pastry tray to about 10 PM offices. There Italian pastries REAL GOOD and everybody loves them. I also give $40-$50 gift certs to restaurants to the PM's that give me a lot of work, I also give JL shirts.

It cost $500 -$800 but I get that back in a minute and I like to give it to people who our my business

I also have card made up and mail & hand deliver them with gifts. Everybody at least get a a nice Xmas card saying thank you
 
I'm Glad its all over, Over 3500 cards and at least 200 plates of goody's.

2 weeks and about four people, baked all the cookie ourselves and made a couple cheese cakes for a few good customers.

about 1000 dollars worth of movie passes for PM's

No wal-marts got anything.... they called me a few years back to come get the cookies and said if i send them next year no more work.

about six cases of note pads. forgot that one.... thats Rick special, only delievered those to ricks customers.
