If they are on ceilings be very careful, I have a way of preventing them all togther if this is a maint account.

You must be rinsing with water only I assume?
If thats the case use a standard housewash soap mix, the weight of the detergents will pull them down as you rinse.

I do the same here, if on my initial walk-around I see lots of spider webs and insect nests attached under the eves, I mix heavy with the soap in the mix. My brand of choice is Emulsifier Plus and I will usually double up on the soap in the mix for that one house and the webs and all seem to peel right off and rinse easy. Does take a little extra rinsing but nothing compared to fighting with sticky webs... And I do have one of those brushes as well as its gentler on the entry ways and covered porch areas that have painted drywall ceilings.

Same here. I just double up on the soap, let it soak for a bit and rinsing is pretty much a breeze. I have tried brushing before washing a few times but it seemed to take forever.

As others have said, heavy on the soap should solve the problem.

Heres one of the spider webs we just cleaned.......3 story high. Used a 0060,0040 and 0030. The 0030 worked ok (0060 and 0040 wasnt doing much at all) (windy) but it was taking a while to clean it. Pulled out the blue extention pole and it was gone in a matter of seconds with a 2540 tip. Basic house wash was being downstreamed. It uses snap locks instead of twist. Just for cases like this....Most cases my machine will reach anything I need.

Pre-cleaning with a broom and then soaping is the way we do it. I had a client ask about prevention and so we ran a test with this product. http://www.gemplers.com/product/G77372/N-A-1-gallon-Dr-Ts-Cobweb-Eliminator#TAB-INFO I called her today and she was excitedly saying I have to come by and look at something. I thought, oh no, it must have ruined something, but she said no, it worked great, you can see right where I stopped applying it, the spiders re-webbed, but not a single web where I applied it.

Yeah to bad that's not available anymore. It was a great product. I used it for years.

We became real good at removing them because we delt with it everynight at the walgreens. We just put alot of dawn into the mix and it made it much easier to remove, also get yourself a large 0 tip that puts out alot of water, they work great for knocking stuff down from ceilings with low pressure hi volume.
