Citranella Wax

A while back one of my kid's picked up a broken citranella candle and placed it on an old Bar-b-q, Its a cast one and I didnt notice the candle melting on it, well needless to say I had planned on repainting it and putting a new handle on etc. My problem is cleaning where the wax melted and baked on in the sun, I have used boiling water, my P/W, clorox and some degreaser from Lowes that claims to work on wax (lol).
Any suggestions

Speaking of BBQ, I just acquire my turbo powered grill from SAMS. Stainless steel with a built in rotis burner. On my second tank of LP already. Come on over for some of the best ribbies on this side of the Mississippi.:)

On another note, the deck I am preping for sealer now teh cusotmer did not take my advise of getting a clear plexi glass sheet for under his grill. Needless to say, he has dripped grease on the new cedar. Need a suggestion in how to get out the few spots he got on it without using stripper. Ideas welcome.

i know "ERA" the laundry detergent does a great job on removing heavy grease from your hands after working on your car. never tried it on wood though. that may work.
