Chemical injector help

Hey guys. Hope your spring has started off as a profitable.
For some reason my chemical injector has stopped pulling chemical. Any trouble shooting techniques that you could offer would be very much apreciated. It's a pretty new injector, about 2 months old. The only difference is I lost the low pressure tip I WAS using and started using another one. That wouldn't have anything to do with it, would it? Thanks.

now you gonna make my buy a few extra low pressure tips and keep them in my glove compartment.

If you are not using a tip designed for soap suction you will not get soap. In most cases you will need at least a 30 opening and a 40-50 would be best. for example a 6540 soap tip is common (black tip).

I am using a low pressure, soap nozzle (black). I wasn't sure if those come in different orifice sizes.

Tell me how to "fill in signature" and I'll be happy to.

dude, inside the downstreamer is a little tiny ball
it gets sticky. be careful takin it out and spray it with some wd40
and wipe it off and put it back in
be careful takin it out cuz there is a little spring that like to pop and disappear

hey, whats going on. the deal with your injector might be the same thing i go through every other month. i generally clean brick and i run acid through mine, and the acid wears down the spring. you can buy a rebuild kit for the chemical injectors ($6) it contains a ceramic ball and new spring. its simple to do, just becareful taking it apart, because u need to observe how the spring and ball are set up. if that doesn't help, then its probably better to buy a new injector for $20.
