Chem pump

Looking for a cheap starter pump for application of chems. Any suggestions? When I say cheap I mean $$ wise not quality. :D

Tired of fighting the in-line one on my JD and from what you guys are saying this is not good anyways for your washer.

I've been using a sureflow for years (not the same one). As long as you keep them rinsed it should last you awile. I do alot of roofs and also use it on concrete applications when needed and on real nasty bldg and house washes when ds'ing won't seem to cut it. Also use it for transfering from 125 gal tank to 25 gal tanks to make mixes up. Normally I'll get about 8-9 months out of a pump. Considering the amount of $$'s 1 pump makes me, I don't mind changing them out when they die.

sweet sounds good. I will look into them.

any specific models? One better luck than the other? Shurflo

If ya want BIG Fish, ya need BIG Bait.
The Shurflo and Flojet and Delevan are all good pumps.
what ever pump you choose, GET big hose.
ANY pump, especially a low pressure 12 volt pump, will always spray much better, and work less hard with larger diameter hose.
AVOID 3/8 hose !!
At LEAST 1/2 inch and 5/8 or 3/4 is better still.
Regular old dollar store garden hose works fine in a pinch, if ya rinse it out.
See you out on the water ?

Skyway!

Was fishing in a very close area to that pic yesterday after work.
We boated our limits with trout and each had a fatty redfish.

How does that deckboat do as a fishing boat??
We use a 19 SKiff and still have to pole around where the fish are.
Tide went out around 1 yesterday and the sand bars were WALKABLE by 3pm!

That boat has to be leaving prop marks Chris...
You know that our beloved trout live in the grass?
When you take a big heavy boat like that into the flats and fish you are killing the grass :(

You know those long white lines in the sand at the bottom of the flats that seem to never grow back?

It SUCKS as a fishing boat Thomas.
It really does.
Here is the story on it.
I have a 19 foot Hydra Sports Center Console.
Then, this boat was offered to me for 3 grand!!
Could not say no.
THOUGHT the girlfriend and her daughter would LIKE boating ?
Wrong !!!
Boat is a Hurricane Deck Boat.
It is USELESS in even a MODERATE Chop.
Yes, it planes, but the tri hull makes it sit way low in the water.
Anchored at Skyway, boat takes on too much water.
BTW, it's wash down pump is a FLOJET
NO Delevans here :D
We were cast netting for bait Thomas.
I was doing my favorite thing, feeding my face ...

It was high tide, and we did our best to keep motor up.
Tarpon were smashing tackle that day!!!!

I plan to sell BOTH boats, and get ONE real boat ?

Here is a pic of the little Hydra Sports.'
Blew he bottom of the Nissan motor, sucks finding parts.

It is pretty useless too Thomas, but because it is a "Little Hydra Sports" it is not looked down on by the big boyz :)

Be that as it may, it will beat you to death.
I called Hydra Sports, and they apologized.
Said their NEW boats are WAY better.
It is a 1979 Hydra Sports Thomas, no computer hull design back then!!

According to Hydra Sports, the computer revolutionized hull design, allows for testing a zillion hull designs in a 24 hour period !!!

ewwww was that recent?

new moon = LOW tides.

I can't tell you how many boats I will see grounded during new and full moons...the tide swings in a hurry here. In the keys it was so beautiful....HARDLY any tides

That picture is about a month old I think ?
ya know, here in Tampa Bay, this is my fishing experience.
I have had better luck in the shallow flats OR offshore.
I once did a roof for a guy who is a captain, has his own fishing show on cable TV.
We swapped services, took me in the flats and caught Red Fish till my elbow fell off!

We catch Redfish till our elbows fall off.

Problem is you can only keep one redfish.

I never saw the point in tarpon fishing. Steve hooked into one the other day, was fun I guess. Burn you gas, you can't eat it and you go through tackle hunting it. Then the sharks, we always grab sharks by the channel.

When snook season is in.....now thats fishing. Go and try and get you a fish
that has to fit in a 5 inch window for size. Snook is the best to eat and hunt IMO. We hunted them all season and (during the day not at structure at night)<---prolly why....and the largest we caught was 26. We catch 15 to 20-'s everyday and send them back to grow for us. When I close my eyes I see a snook!

Shinners are kinda slim pickins atm. We have been using half beeks and grunts/pinfish with good luck. Man the tide was low. Pole and chum pole and chum...

Fish in the AM and golf till dark is what this boy will be doing in 18 years(retire @ 50 baby!) everyday all day. Haha unless I strike oil before hand...
