Look at this way, what are we missing on this site that PWNA can pick up on. The site looks the same as the rest of the PW sites. They could have built a good home site and linked to the other sites. That site will make the other sites even weaker. Even now you have people copying question to other sites. I look at this site and Dans-why do we need a BB at PWNA? That is all that I am asking. If that rubs some people the wrong way, sorry about that.

I have said nothing offensive in any of my posts related to PWNA or anything else. If this group can't handle another opinion, then I will consider joining for another year. It will be worth the money. I am disappointed in the "Bambi" remark, if you see my remarks a negative-look at the people that don't even take the time.

Over the past few years-all we could hear from Avery was 'New Programs Are Coming". Well? Its always right around the corner at the next Show.

That's a good idea David, and who knows, maybe they will add links to other sites somewhere on theirs. Certainly seems appropriate, especially if the sites are to any type of resource a a PW'er might use, information or products...
 
Chris, I’ll be frank. I understand Davids points. If you were ever going to get a BBS to work you will need to have its members Posts. This being the first and only authorized forum on the web has not seen a lot of traffic.

I have called every PWNA member on my list of 450. They all know the site exist and many don’t go online. I think when contacting if you do I would take a poll. I would like to volunteer for this job if you would let me. It would be interesting the 450 members that have online accessibility.

I do know that you where planning to have a BBS, Do I mind? NO.. I will be there and participate when ever possible. I will help anyone in this industry I can.

David I sure appreciate the strait forward no Bs kind of guy you are. Don’t go anywhere because you ad the kind of professional disagreement that I think gets people thinking. Theirs really no defense for your question and they have already opened the site. It’s going to be a tough road to get too. They now have made themselves no escape. David if you look at it from a different point of view than it will be just another site then re-look. These are supposedly the major players in the pw business. If they can’t make the site work then we have real issues with this industry. Some of these guys are the biggest in the busz. I will wait to see if they reply to some of my stimulating posts. Traffic,,, Chris, we will help supply some traffic to the PWNA site. I wish you guys luck and hope the site works out. I want to see all Board members posting. I will demand it as member. opps I will request it. Sorry got a little rude. As the president you should ask the board and the founder to post. This will open doors so others will except the openness.


I’ll answer Davids Question???? They need to keep up and want control of there own destiny. These BBS make some lots of money. Myself it’s a cost. For the PWNA it will be a moneymaker if they do it right. They want more members and they want to grow. Chris is trying and only wants people to be positive. For myself this BBS should have been made 12 years ago. If it had I probably would not have mine. I would have a neutral ground to share and discuss info with others. I hope this BBS will be free for those to speak freely and disagree. What David has done hear on my BBS is welcome. David was lashed at and told to shut the hell up. He professionally replied and kept his cool.


Zippo, biased input,,,,,, really? The moderator Body allows you to keep posting. your post sometimes are quite good and other times I don’t care for your unprofessional like manner. Wait, don’t tell me you don’t care what I think. Ok I understand that. Please once again try not to have your posts get rude with others. Thanks for making PWI the only bbs you post on. . I don’t see you anywhere else so I guess this is the most Biased BBS you’ve found? Thankyou, the vanity thing is probably true. Just yesterday my wife was saying I look better….LOL,,, your to much Zip,, don’t go anywhere else we would miss you.

day late and a $ short but I shoot anyway

While I was busy trying to catch sunlight you guys have had some great discussions. Many owners see other companies in the same industry to be the enemy. I find this inaccurate thinking. Whether in the pressure cleaning industry or in a BBS the sharing of knowledge leads to a more rounded and better place for all of us.

I have read some postings concerned that they are not listening or just plan ignoring the many ideas be given. I wish we could get to all the great ideas and put them into action. I am sure no one disputes how much work Chris Detter puts into PWNA aside from the huge workload of his business. The board operates by Chris’ lead. It is also people like Ron and Beth (to name a few) that are not on the board that help us move to the next level through their dedication and volunteerism. All great things take time.

I was once told that the pressure cleaning industry is in the same place the plumbing industry was about 100 years ago. I do not know if this is true but it sure makes sense.
