Carrying on the job...

I'm sure that a few of you do but how many of you are carrying while out on jobs? Personally think my life is worth more than a job, but has anyone ever ran into an issue with clients upset over it?

If you mean by concealed permit, the whole idea is that it must remain 'concealed' at all times (until needed). Nothing they can do about it unless you tell them (which you're not supposed to do) or they have a standing rule that you can't, in which case you would have to make the call (job or no job).

We all carry at night and I carry one in the truck at all times and my lead man is always carrying one day or night. It rides up some and his shirt comes up over his gun and I occasionally have to tell him his gun is in view. Alabama actually is an open carry state, but that has some grey areas sometimes. Having worked in law enforcement for over 15 years, I'm pro carry for my guys, just want them concealed during daylight hours so the customers or bystanders don't freak out.
