That would be nice Tristan!

However, my question is a little different...

Thought I would throw out an update. Picked up 200 up carbonless copies from kinkos here is town. 100 proposals and 100 invoices for only 62 bucks. Im more than happy with how they came out!

What's the difference between the two? I'm new to this and thought an invoice was a signed proposal. What am I missing?

Yeah I think the proposal is more of the laid out estimate. Then if you need to make any changes or they agree to service you invoice them stating they agree and to pay according to the terms on the invoice. But I am new to this too so I could be wrong.

That's making sense Tristan. So basically, the proposal is for work on the spot "get it in writing/cya", and the invoice is more completely detailed and typed out. Sound right?

A proposal is your bid for pricing of your services and they sign agreeing to pay for those services and prices, if they want to add or reduce services you adjust your proposal/ bid. Now once you are done with your services you send them your invoice of the services listed on the proposal and the total amount they owe you. They sign the proposal to agree to your prices they will pay you and the invoice is the bill you send afterwards to make sure you get your money. My invoices are identical to my proposals except it says invoice on it instead of proposal. And has an area that I sign for when paid in full for them to use as a receipt.

Keep it simple

Thank you. Very simple. I called one Kinko's who said $1 per. I'll call around.
