Can anyone tell me be the most cost efficient way and best way to do a car lot of 250 cars. For example should i sgueegie the windows?, towel dry them? How much do i charge a car? What chenicals to use?Thank you!!!!!!!!

Powerwash, I dont have a car lot wash contract right now but am learning all i can about it.
Scott here uses a 3 man team and can wash that lot of cars in about 5 hours.
one guy with a wash mit and a good quality car wash. The second guy rinsing with a pressure washer that is supplied with a water that has been de-ionised [you will need to look into types and costs of a system to de-ionize or soften the tank water]. The third man squeegies the glass and dose touch-ups[inspects].
The rules are easy. Use treated water,dont let soap dry on surface,wipe the glass.

It depends on the type of car lot that you are doing, sort of. If it is a dealership, then DI water and a guy or two to dry will do the trick. If it is cars taht get used on the road, I.E. Phone company, Power company, City governement, etc, then the method that Ron described to you works really well. If you do use a good quality soap then even if it dries, as long as you don't let it set too long it will come right off. I use Zymol from Price Club for this. I am not normally one to do the discount club thing for my wash products, but someone recommended this to me, and it works excellent.

Price Club discontinues Zymol soap around mid August every year here and it doesn't reappear until around April, and there's a good chance they do that in every store. It's a marketing ploy they have, but the wrong time of year to pull a product like that off the shelf. So stock up for the winter if that's the case in your store Scott.

Costco has the Water blades as well, but they don't have the pole that goes with it.
