Can it get any worse

After a tire came off the trailer (right through the lug nuts) and the oppisite tire is going flat because of a nail, my pump is leaking from the bottom and burner sounded like the space shuttle yesterday, I went to a job today (an hour from the shop) got suited up to spray the deck and the tip was gone. I had to go back to my home town because here in West By God virginia tips are hard to get. I just got a chevy 3500 and its tranny is slipping and the front right is making sounds im afraid to investigate. This is just a sample of my last few days. Did I mention I own a deckhand.

Hay walter its just another day in the life of a power washer. two steps forward three steps back.

I know exactly what you mean I have had days almost like that. They su*k. All you can do is kick back have a few cold ones and wait until tomorrow and hope its better. If not keep repeating this process except keep adding a few more beers every night until it gets better.lol Na I live by a few rules in life 1. Never sweat the small things 2. Everything is a small thing. It will get better hang in there.:D

Thanks

Im not sweating yet. I keep a good attitude and a good outlook. Thanks to the man above I have a gotten a few real good contacts in the past week. Nothing is better than a good outlook.

You said it !! Always have a good out look and don't ever forget you are not alone in this business you have the man above always by your side. Take it easy. It can only get better.

Walter,Walter, Walter, I told you to buy a HYDRO TEK all you would be doing is washing right now:) But all kidding aside how is the truck washing going? How did it go at waste?

Well keep your head up......

P.S. You can always go back to boat:)

Will talk later.

P.S.S. You clean hood cheap. HA, HA

Where to start, first this is for everyone, if you buy something cheap you get something cheap so buy quality and pay the price for it.

Now Washman U and I is gonna Tango, the nerve of you saying Hydro Tek is best, I love my All American (Alkota now) and feel both are equal with one exception, Hydro Tek never bargains and are our compeititors.

Yes I have said it before but any manufacturer that has outside salesman going to the accounts we service and selling them on doing it themselves is in my mind a competitor, period.

I had bids in to a couple places and after my follow ups find out they bought something from that company down the block, Hydro Tek so thanks but we are going to do our own cleaning.

Need I say more?

Now Walter you should have listened to John anyway, then checked all systems out, I know of guys that have very good luck with Delco's stuff while others would not dare buy them.

Hey if it works and does not break down then it is worth it to the person who is buying it.

Ahh Maintenance and repairs.
You would not believe the spare parts I carry in my truck. Just about every part that is easily replaceable is in my tool box, Ignitors, guns, tips, wands, fuel pumps, Filters, unloaders, packing, Valves, Pressure switches, Hi-limit switches, O-Rings, Quick Connects, Hose, etc. I hate being broke down, and I can fix just about anything in about a half hour at the most. As for the truck issue, It is time for some major service. Do it now before it does what a chevy does best, leave you on the side of the road, needing to get to a job. (sorry, I couldn't resist).

As for a bad day, next week will be better.

Man ya don't even know what a bad day is,your lucky its just small stuff.
I'm with ya Scott,I don't breakdown for long and I'm a running.

Hey get this I did't have a spare part with me Monday but it was getting dark and I hadn't finished cleaning so I was going to unhook and leave my rig there,I do not unhook offened it stays hooked to the truck all time.I couldn't hardly believe my eyes when I unhooked, the ball had wore a hole in the trailer cup'lor "WOW" .Guess I need to pull the other rig for awhile but I'm still dragging it around it looking like that.Stop by the welding shop to see when he could but another cup'lor on "anytime" and he told me and remember this "you need to put grease on the ball every once in awhile to keep it from wearing"

Mat. 7:7

"Ask and you will be given what you ask for. Seek, and you will find." Do you remember asking for days like that?

Talked to a lady on the phone about cleaning up a tree down on her property. She was REAL concerned that I didn't leave a mess in the yard, so I promised to clean up any debris left from the tree: branches, sawdust, etc. Well, when I got there, the grass was over knee-high, and the house was actually falling down. No-one had lived there for years! I did what I promised, though, even had to weed-eat the yard to find the branches buried in the grass! learned a little about quoting "sight-unseen!" Guess I won't be getting any wash-jobs from that lady, but you never know.
