First thing that jumps out is 24hp motor. That is ok for a cold water 8 gpm but right on the limit for an 8gpm hot water. Thats probably why it has a new motor. Do you know the model #. Make sure you look inside the coil for soot build-up. Another think to check is pressure climb. I sell new Landa equipment and have several in my rental fleet. As they age they have a tendency to build pressure after you let go of the gun. This typically happens after running the burner even for a short period of time. Eventually you will end up replacing the rupture discs all of the time until you replace the coil. You can half way fix this by installing a flow actuated unloader and a resetable pressure relief.
