Hello guys,
I was washing trucks Sunday and it seems like the burner is not making warm water, like 120 to 140 degrees, it is making it so hot you cannot hold the wand wearing leather gloves, it gets too hot in a couple seconds.
I recently replaced the thermostat and the pressure switch, and cleaned out the fuel bowl.
It seems if I have the thermostat at 120 or 140 it just gets hotter and hotter.
The thermostat is new so I am wondering why the water is getting so hot.
I am using the correct nozzles, actually a nozzle to lower the pressure some and the unloader is not bypassing.
This is the Hotsy 1295SS, 5.6gpm, 3000psi with the 12 Volt Beckett Burner, Vertical Coil, new fully charged battery.
From far away you can see the heat from the burner when the trigger is pulled and stops when you let go of the trigger.
Any ideas of what is going on?
Thanks.
