ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, I got back today with 175 gallons of mix left , came back out to clean everything up and ahhhhhhhhhhh , a BULK HEAD SEAL WAS LEAKING , REAL BAD

Anyway I just turned on the pump (both) and ran both 5/8 hoses over to another trailer with a large chem tank ond as we speak its unloading its self.

always check those seals folks dont want 100+ gallons of love on the ground

I've had some slow leaks before, but nothing catastrophic yet. When I have time in the slower months, I try to take fittings off and re-wrap or replace.

A friend of mine snapped an elbow off the fuel tank on a hot water skid one time. From what I hear, it made quite a mess too.

I keep some of those plastic trays around like they use at the pool stores for slow leaks, so it doesn't eat the wood under the fitting. Works in a pinch.

Now you have learned about Bulkheads and SH Russ ?
i have bought the most expensive, triple Teflon sealed ones you can name.
Banjo, Heyward, Chemco, you name it.
NONE last for long.
Always pull from the top from now on, and eliminate this problem.

OZ HAS SPOKEN.

just kidding.

I use banjos (bulk heads) and upgrade to the viton gaskets, they can hold off the inevitable a little longer. I outfitted this truck with all banjo schedule 80, it has been working well. This is just the intake side, I'm always changing stuff around.
