Bronze Statue

Anyone know anything about cleaning this------now this is something I have no idea about------ANY INFORMATION??????

What would different chemicals do to this type of metal, we have one in Shreveport which is in bad shape, might be beyond the scope of our profession---interesting though.
 
Contacted the foundry in Brooklyn, NY and was told that I could pressure wash the statue and then if streaks left could use #0000 steel wool to remove them........
 
Are you wanting to remove the patina? You could try a LIGHT acid wash to remove any oxidation. It would save you the effort of the steel wool.
