So I did a site about a month ago and tested something. Bare in mind I didn't have a lot of money to spend and the job was that night and need to impress quickly. I went to my local Wal-Mart store and bought just regular clorox bleach (2 gallons) and a bottle of dawn. Heard dawn was a good foaming agent. So I mixed two gallons with 3 gallons of warm water and a squirt of dawn. I down streamed it on the entire concrete surface and let it dwell for about 10 minutes. I then surface cleaned it with 180 degrees and did a final rinse. The next day I went in the morning to meet with my customer and we both saw how bright the concrete was. He was extremely happy. Now my question is did my concoction work or would I have had the same result just using hot water and my SC? I've had different results with concrete in the past, where I use just hot water and SC and it brightens, but use the same method and the concrete doesn't brighten like I would like to see.
This topic has intrigued me since I first read it 2 weeks ago. I just hope I'm not stepping on any toes here by asking some different question on this topic.
