Hey there I am a newbie to this site, but have been washing for 5 years now. I was working for the areas largest paint co, and am now on my own. My question is this. Are there any name brands out there to add to your advertizing efforts that may draw attention? and also where is the best bang for your buck on advertizing?

We occasionally throw out manufacturers names in two situations....wood care and new brick construction type work. If the customer asks about what we use "We use chemicals specially formulated for the contractor with the experience and equipment to use them effectively without damage to the enviroment or our applicators." The old "our products are not listed in consumer reports because they are not consumer products" has worked well in the past.

Best bang for the Advertising buck in my area is the yellow pages in the Real telephone book.

Helping.

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering because my old boss had Glidden, Tennant, and a whole slew of brand names listed. Often they payed to get the vinyl on the truck ( the co's)
