Jon,

Were you able to go the Victory link I posted OK?

Hey Jon,
I remember the 200cc Triumph Cub - used to ride one back in about 1958. Bought my first m/c in 1955 - a 500cc '48 Norton. Man I thought it could really jump and fly, but many years later my pro-motocrosser son showed me how anemic those early bikes really were. I don't think anything in the world can come off the line like a 500cc motocrosser.

Reed,

What a nice looking bike, sure it looks like the HD but then why not, a good seller copies a good seller.

And to think there are 4 dealers near me too, guess I know what I will do when the wife has her sisters over Saturday chatting and playing scrabble and eating and chatting etc.

Thanks for the link.

Jon,

All the victory's are stock fuel injected. And they have been working very hard to put out a great product. The engine this year recieved an upgrade and power boost.

This bike really deserves some looks. Go to your dealer this weekend. Most Victory dealers will let you test drive one.

If you want, I have some great Motorcycle links that I can send you.

Jon,

I remember the Triumph Tiger Cub!

My first motorcycle was a Honda 90, from there I went to
my first chopper an AJ Matchless 500 single, next was a
Harley 45 solo, with suicide clutch and jockey shift, wound up
in the hospital on that bike when I had a stand off with a 1969
Mercury wagon, next was a Harley 45 Custom Trike, then a half dozen
different Shovelheads, a Knucklehead, and then I built a Shovelhead
from the ground up custom frame balanced & blueprinted 100" motor etc.

My last motorcycle was an American Classic Edition (ACE) Honda 1100 ,
with windshield, leather bags etc, kind of like that driveshaft .
Almost bought a BMW, then I have decided to take a break from
motorcycles until my kids are a little older, or the fever takes control of me
and I go out and buy a new ?????????

There was a day when I proclaimed better dead than on a jap bike!

I never thought I would say it but I am not sure if I would buy a Harley
again, there are sure a lot of nice Japanese Cruisers.

Check this one out:

The rice burners have come a long way.
