Bidding A BIG Residential Roof Today

It was A famous Baseball Player from Tampa, Fred McGriff :)
Fred lives in Avila, in North Tampa, a very affluent, deed restricted community.
We do a lot of roof cleaning work in Avila.
He was very happy with his roof cleaning.
His roof was thin, slate tile.
Here are some pics.
I will start a new thread on this one later, when I feel better,'Fighting the Flu.

Our guys went to Ocala FL today, 100 miles North of here.
A nice Canadian customr called from North of Toronto.
He bought a place in Ocala with a 2500 sq ft 2 story tile roof.
He gave us his crediit card number, and I sent my guys, and our 40 foot ladder.

The guys had the camera, buy did not take pics, it was raining.
House had dormers coming halfway up the 11/12 pitch 2 story roof.
It is a RARE roof we walk away from, but no way on this one w/o a lift.
Called the customer back up in Canada, and he said go for it.
I will call Sunbelt Rentals in Ocala tomorrow, arrange the 45 foot knuckle lift, and we will return Friday.

The other house of the famous person I cant take pictures of UNTIL we secure the job.
The wife of the famous person is religious, and so is a previous customer we did near her.
She KNOWS the previous customer, and he is a happy camper.
Plus, the previous customer and I really hit it off, and we cleaned him twice!

I feel secure that this big house is my job, as far as the wife goes, but who knows about HIM ?
Like all famous people, they know EVERYBODY, LOL

LOL, no, it is NOT "OJ's Old House".
The roof is slate tile, it will crack if you even look at it wrong.
When bidding roofs like these, a common mistake is to "beat your competitors price".
These are HIGH END Customers.
They are looking for quality of roof cleaning work, NOT Price.

Chris! Whats up buddy? It didnt even register at first which site I was on. Good have you back over here.

We've got a big one we just secured that were gonna need a lift on. 13,000sqft w/ 4 car garage. Slate tiles. W also got the housewash, patios and steps. Ill put some pictures on once the jobs done. Its on th same road as the 8k sqft one I just posted pictures of w/ the tile roof.

Hey, do you have seperate tile roof cleaning and shingle roof cleaning pages on YOUR site ?
It is best to set it up this way, and develop the links to them, as well as your home page.
 
And, DON'T forget you local Google Roof Cleaning Tampa page ?
Actually,, here is MY opinion of the Local results vs the web page results.
For a considerable amount of time, we were number one for BOTH local and web page results.
Just for kicks, I placed my cell phone number in the local results, and the office number on the web page.
I got WAY more roof cleaning estimates from the web page, NO comparasion !
Now, being the competitive person I am, I would like to be number one for BOTH Local and Organic Search.
But I will take my website being number one over Local Results anyday.
I can always tell HOW an internet customer comes to us.
IF they are shoppers, they almost always come from the Local Results.
The ones who find our web site are a whole different breed altogether.
We find these roof cleaning customers to be almost "pre sold".
